Our attorneys have been representing lawyers facing charges of negligence or ethical violations for more than 40 years. Our representation has included sole practitioners and large law firms, and our work has placed us before state and federal trial courts throughout the 18 counties in the western district of Pennsylvania and in the state and federal appellate courts. We have successfully defended over 600 actions in an extremely broad range of claims, and it is likely that no firm in our area has been more active or more successful in legal malpractice cases. We have advised managing partners and general counsel of many of the major law firms in our region on a variety of actual and potential liability issues. In addition, our attorneys have acted on behalf of insurance carriers in a "claims repair" capacity on pre-suit matters and have provided coverage opinions for insurers.

Because the rules of law and standards of causation are different in legal malpractice, it is a specialized niche where experience truly matters.
