PITTSBURGH, PA, May 20, 2010--Grogan Graffam, P.C. announced that Dennis A. Watson was recently elected Chair of the Federal Court Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. The role of the section is to propose and support changes and improvements in common and statutory law relating to Federal civil and criminal litigation.

Mr. Watson has been President of Grogan Graffam since 1998 and a shareholder in the Litigation practice group since 1983. With more than 30 years of trial experience, he concentrates his practice in complex commercial, construction, maritime, insurance and product liability litigation.

Mr. Watson is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and the Pennsylvania Joint State Government Commission's Advisory Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution. He serves as Chairman of the Zoning Board of the Borough of West View and is a director of the Municipal Authority of the Borough of West View. Mr. Watson has been a Trustee of the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania since 2001. He received his J.D., cum laude , from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1977.
