Mr. Grogan, one of the founding shareholders of the firm, has been a trial attorney for 50 years and is widely known and respected in commercial litigation matters, real estate law and professional liability defense. He served as President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1997 and as President of the Allegheny County Bar Association in 1989. He currently chairs the Pennsylvania Bar Association Trust and is a Past Chair and member of the PBA's Professional Liability Committee. Mr. Grogan also serves as Chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association Lawyers Fund. He is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and the Pennsylvania Joint State Government Commission's Advisory Committee on Real Property Law. Mr. Grogan received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1960.
Ms. Lloyd is a shareholder in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. She concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense and professional liability defense including defense of legal malpractice cases. Ms. Lloyd is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and is on Council for the ACBA Civil Litigation Section. As a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Professional Liability Committee, Ms. Lloyd lectures frequently on risk avoidance and ethics for lawyers. She is also an appointed member of the Pennsylvania Civil Procedural Rules Committee. Ms. Lloyd received her J.D.,
cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1994.
