Our co-founder and friend, Stephen W. Graffam, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. For over 50 years, Steve enjoyed a distinguished career as a trial attorney and was widely considered to be the region's foremost admiralty lawyer. The residents of western Pennsylvania who benefited from his tireless efforts on behalf of Allegheny College, the Heinz History Center, D.T. Watson Rehabilitation Hospital and countless other community organizations, both large and small, have lost a champion. We share in those losses. But for us at Grogan Graffam, we have also lost our co-founder, partner, colleague, mentor, and, most importantly, life-long friend. read more...
